A SUN CATCHER STAINED GLASS STUDIO WORKSHOP

COST: 2 person minimum, $250/person, $500/total, includes instruction, all materials and supplies, and Lamar’s famous organic local salad for lunch, plus a fresh juice
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING: bring a full-color rendering of what you want to make. If you want to finish your stained glass sun catcher in one session, make your design on a sheet of 8.5” by 11” piece of paper. No piece of glass should be smaller than you thumb. You’ve got to trace, cut and grind every single piece. It’s recommended that you choose an oval or circle, although free-form and rectangles are fine!
- Have your line drawing reproduced twice on cardstock and bring the pattern and
- two copies with you.
- After you print it, color one of the copies the way you want it to appear on your finished stained glass. You can research or choose patterns online.
- Wear casual clothes. We can provide aprons. Glasses or eye wear and closed toed shoes are required.
- Lamar is happy to make you a salad. Please bring yourselves snacks or coffee if you would like.

LAMAR YOAKUM has been expertly crafting stained glass windows and mosaics for over 40 years. He has a lot of experience teaching and he is good at it.
